I always was suspicious of the Big Bang when it was mentioned in my presence. It just seemed like a scientific serrogate for god. It all fit together too nicely and I'm much more comfortable with uncertaintity with no central focal point.
Recently I stumbled onto a whole different approach to the cosmos--one in which there is no beginning or end and all of that nonsense.
